1. When did the apparitions in Medjugorje begin?
A. June 24th 1981, a Wednesday, the feast of John The Baptist.
2. Is Medjugorje a safe place to visit?
A. Very safe, over 40 million people have been there including Pope Benedict before he became Pope.
3. Is there adequate lodging?
A. There are many Bed and Breakfast type places as well as actual Hotels that have gone up recently.
4. What is the Church’s stance on Medjugorje?
A. The Vatican has commissioned a group of Priests, Cardinals, Doctors, etc. to study Medj. They have finished their study and it is now in the hands of Pope Francis. It is expected that the Vatican will have some response soon.
5. What is special about Medjugorje?
A. There are many fruits that have come out of Medjugorje. Over 1400 vocations to the priesthood, millions of Confessions have been heard and millions of Eucharists have been received. There have also been over 600 documented physical healings associated with Medj. and many more conversions.
6. Can anyone go there?
A. Yes and many denominations do go. Transportation is available from all over the world and transfers and lodging are easy to come by.
7. Do the children still have daily Apparitions?
A. 3 have daily Apparitions and 3 have annual apparitions. One of the three that receive an annual visit also has a monthly visit on the 2nd of each month (Marijana). This message is for the world as is the monthly message received on the 25th of each month that is given to Marjia.
